Squidlips has taken fish & chips to the next level, not only do we make the best fish & chips in the South West, but we have created a delicious menu with a gourmet twist for the more sophisticated palate. Try our marinated prawn & scallop skewers, Squidlips-made Thai fishcakes, tempura prawns and our specialty squid!
As our name suggests, Squidlips specializes in squid; try yours lightly dusted in Salt & Pepper, Lemon Pepper, Cajun spice or Chilli seasoning! Local fish includes Whiting, Gummy Shark, and Goldband Snapper; these can also be dusted in your favourite seasoning then grilled, or choose to have yours fried in our famous beer batter.
We use 100% rice bran oil which contains no cholesterol and is filtered daily to ensure a healthier choice.
Squidlips takes phone orders, but during the peak summer months you may find the phone engaged for long periods, sometimes it maybe best just to come and join the queue.
